Welcome To JBA Basketball!

We're excited to tell you about the Junior Basketball Association. The JBA gives youth at all levels the best opportunity to play and get better at the great game of basketball.

When players participate in JBA basketball they become part of the JBA family. JBA is committed to organizing a league program that is organized and focused on the positive development of kids. Every JBA player, whether they want to play for fun or have the desire to get serious about basketball, will have that opportunity with JBA.

JBA started in Mesa, Arizona in 2001 and offers a school boundary based fall, winter and spring league. Elementary, jr. high and high school basketball programs all benefit from the school league format. At all levels, from Kindergarten thru 8th grade, the league gives kids the chance to play with friends in their neighborhood and from school. Having players play and develop together year after year, within boundaries, develops friendships, a sense of community, a community "tradition" of basketball, as well as good basketball teams. It also helps develop future basketball players that understand the concept of "team" for jr. high and high school basketball programs.
