The JBA Parent

There are many important pieces to the JBA league puzzle, but none are as important as league parents. Without the support of parents the league does not function. With that said, its important that all league parents are on the same page and approach the league with a positive understanding of their role.

There are some common "acceptable" behaviors that have found their place into youth basketball that need to be refined. There are also things parents can do to help make the league experience a good one, for not only their player(s), but other players on the team, team coaches, game officials and league personnel.

The JBA Parent Handbook is the core piece of this puzzle. It addresses all these issues and helps parents understand the important part they play in making the league experience a good one.

- Being a Good Example

Each household receives a handbook as part of their participation in the league. It is important that you read the handbook and do your part to help make the league experience a good one for everyone involved.
